Two sites so far. Both for people I'd happily work with again.

Broom & Ivy

A painted broom became a whole brand online. Services grouped the way she quotes them, a request form that emails her directly, and a private Request Book so no lead slips.

What's in the bag

Everything a small business actually needs from a website. Nothing it doesn't.

Ingredients

Contains: one website, no retainer
  1. 01

    Your domain, your site

Yours to keep. Leave any time; I'll help you move.

  2. 02

    Requests to your inbox

Every request emails you, confirms the customer, and waits in a private inbox you can sign into from your phone.

  3. 03

    Fast and findable

Loads quick on a phone in a parking lot. Set up so Google knows who you are and where.

  4. 04

    You approve it first

A private preview link the whole way through. It goes live on your domain only when you say so.

From bean to cup

Four steps, about three weeks.

Most sites go from first call to live in under a month. You see everything before it ships.

  1. 1

    A conversation

    Day 1 · 30 min

Thirty minutes about what you do, who you want more of, and what's bugging you about the site you have.

  2. 2

    Real mockups

    Week 1

Three or four full home-page directions, not a mood board. You point at the one you like and we mix.

  3. 3

    The build

    Weeks 2–3

You get a private link and watch it come together, page by page.

  4. 4

    Launch and handoff

    When you say go

Your domain, your email, your site, and a one-page note on how to run it. I stick around for care.

The roaster

Hi, I'm Joshua.

I build websites for small businesses around the East Valley, the kind run by one or two people who'd rather be doing the work than fighting a website builder. Smart Brewed Tech is a one-person shop, which means you talk to the person who builds it, and I remember your site when you call a year later.

It started with my wife's cleaning business and grew through her friends. I'd like to keep it that way: a handful of clients I know by name.

Start a conversation

Tell me about your business.

A few lines is plenty. I'll reply within a day with a time to talk, and if I'm not the right fit I'll say so.

No newsletter, no follow-up sequence. Just a reply.
